This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you access or use Troverse, the Troverse Launcher, the website at https://playtroverse.com, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). The terms “Troverse”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, and “our” are defined as set forth in our Terms of Service (“Terms”, or "ToS"), which also governs your use of the Services. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. This Policy only applies to the Services, and not to any other websites, third-party products, or applications you may be able to access or link to via the Services.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1. Account and Profile Information: When you create a Troverse Account or use Services, we collect your personal information. The term “Personal Information” means information that is linked or reasonably linkable to an identified or identifiable individual, including but not limited to your email address, username, location and demographic information, and any linked third-party accounts, such as your Discord account.
2. Materials You Upload Using the Services: Should you decide to transmit to us any materials or other data of any kind for any reason you agree such submissions will be deemed non-confidential unless you mark such materials or other information as confidential. For any non-confidential material and information you transmit to us, you automatically grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and irrevocable license, including the right to sublicense, use, copy, transmit, distribute, create derivative works of, and display such materials or other information.
3. Gameplay and Service Usage Data: We collect data about your use of the Services, including in-game progress, inventory, achievements, transaction history, playtime, and interactions with in-game features. If you link external accounts (such as Discord), we collect and store identifiers and permissions you grant.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Whenever third-party providers collect your information, they may install small data files called “cookies” or “pixels” on your browser or hard drive, and this Policy does not cover the use of cookies or pixels by third parties. These technologies may be used in analyzing trends, administering the Site and Services, tracking users’ movements around the Site and Services, and to gather demographic information about our user base. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by such companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis. Our partners may also use such technologies to deliver advertisements to you as described below. We use cookies and other technologies such as local and session storage to remember the information of your visits and the settings you applied as well as for authentication and analytics to help you navigate efficiently and perform certain functions. You can change your consent to cookie usage at any time by interacting with the cookie badge on the website. 5. Technical and Device Data: Log file information is automatically reported by your browser or mobile application each time you access the Services. These server logs may include information such as your operating system, browser type, referring/exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and other such information. We do not link this automatically collected data to Personal Information. When you use the Services, including interacting with Troverse Launcher, Troverse game, or Website, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, device identifiers, hardware specifications, operating system, crash logs, and diagnostic data. This may include information collected via cookies or similar technologies for authentication, analytics, and security.
6. Data Collected to Prevent Unauthorized Use: When you use our Services, we may use software features designed to detect unauthorized use or unauthorized and malicious programs. In this context, we may access, collect, monitor, and occasionally transmit information such as hardware details, modifications to our game software, signatures or names of known unauthorized third-party programs, files or processes that could enable cheating or unfair advantage, and in some cases, limited gameplay screenshots.
7. Communications: If you contact us for support or feedback, we may collect and retain records of your communications, including email address and metadata.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information that we collect from you to:

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

Your use of these features is governed by the privacy policies of those platforms.

6. Publicly Available Information: When you use community features such as forums, chat, our Discord server, or public groups, information you post or share will be available to other users or the public. STORAGE AND PROCESSING
We use reputable third-party Service Providers, including Microsoft PlayFab, to host and process your data in connection with the Services. Microsoft PlayFab acts as our data processor, gathers, stores and processes Personal Information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our contractual agreements.
We select our Service Providers based on their compliance with industry security standards and data protection regulations, including the GDPR and CCPA. While we use reasonable efforts to ensure that our providers maintain appropriate safeguards and comply with their legal obligations, we do not control the internal technical or operational processes of these third parties. As a result, Troverse cannot be held responsible for actions or incidents that are solely within the control of Microsoft PlayFab or any other third-party Service Provider. Your personal data may be processed and stored by PlayFab in data centers located in various jurisdictions. We rely on Microsoft’s certifications and contractual commitments to ensure that any international data transfers are handled in accordance with applicable law.
We will continue to use our best efforts to select, instruct, and configure our Service Providers to protect your data, but ultimate responsibility for the technical operation and security of their infrastructure rests with those providers.
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your jurisdiction, including the United States, Canada and European Union. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, the Data Privacy Framework, and other appropriate safeguards to ensure adequate protection for international data transfers as required by applicable law.
